The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, founded in 1918 and opened officially in 1925, is Israel’s premier university as well as its leading research institution. The Hebrew University is ranked internationally among the 150 leading universities in the world and first among Israeli universities.

Today, the Mount Scopus campus houses the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Law and the Institute of Criminology, the School of Social Work and Social Welfare, the School of Public Policy, the School of Education, the School of Occupational Therapy, the School of Business Administration, the Institute of Urban and Regional Studies and the Institute of Archaeology.

The campus is a perfect venue to host academic conferences. If you plan an event during the summer vacation you may use the many available rooms as parallel session halls.
