The Khan Theater was established in the 19th during the Ottoman Period. It was built on the ruins of an inn from the Crusade Period. At those times, travelers on their way to or from Jerusalem would stop to sleep at the Khan – the inn – after the city walls were locked for the night.

This unique building, the charming courtyard with its special atmosphere make this venue to be one of Jerusalem's most beautiful gems.
